Ok still working on Bonnie's Easystreet. I'd better post now, I didn't get as far as I wished but I keep on plugging aay. This is the first Mystery challenge I have ever done. I really enjoyed doing it and never thought I woould ever make a quilt with this many pieces. Here it is so far...
The individual blocks
I hope I can get the top finished this weekend and then start thinking about a border.
Please check out all the quilts at Bonnie's site

Your colors are beautiful. The quilt is so bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment on my quilt. Wish I could take credit for planning the color choice but it all as quite by accident. The Orange was a yard that I had bough of backing material that I had seen and just liked. While I was working on Bonnie’s quilt and it was near by and I was using it as a pad to iron on, when I needed another color I thought why not. Well the rest is history.

I love your colors. I also am working on mine this weekend. Hope you finish them.
ReplyDeleteWonderful colors. Congrats on all your hard work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color combination. Don't laugh, but it makes me think of a campfire (I love campfires). The orange, yellow, and even blue of the flame, the white ash and charcoal black of the burned wood. Cozy and cheerful--I could spend hours around a campfire. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteI love your colors also! How cheery and bright! Can't go wrong with orange though!
ReplyDeleteGreat work!

Wow, love the oranges. It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOrange is my favourite colour, and it looks brilliant in your Easy St!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of orange, thanks for sharing your version with us.
ReplyDeleteYour colours look great, I'm an orange lover too.
ReplyDeleteOh oh oh I love this in the "warm" colors! Maybe just because it hasn't reached "freezing" in Colorado all weekend? Nope. I just love your colors!
